TU25 Features!

Recently, Microsoft announced TU25 on consoles for Minecraft. Title Updates (TU) are updates for the game to make it better and add new additions to it. I thought I would go through some of these updates, explain them and give my personal opinion on each one. Enjoy!

DISCLAIMER: I am not being sponsored by anyone or anything to promote the new update, I just thought I would share some of the new things to help you amazing people yay!

1. Height Customization: On console, you can now choose the height of different structures in your world. From this, you could decide whether or not to have mountains, and how tall each of them would be. It gives you a lot more freedom in deciding how you want your world to be, but I still always enjoy the excitement when you haven't customized anything & have no idea what the world will look like.

2. Wood Stuff: In the new update, different types of wooden doors, fences and gates can be crafted. Like in the PC version of Minecraft, you can now get Spruce, Birch & Jungle wood doors, fences & gates. I loved it when this new update was added on the PC, as I felt you got a lot more creativity with whatever you were building. Also, it makes each different type of wood more individual, which I think is great. Trees should be valued! :D

3. More Commands: When in game, you can change a wider variety of settings, or commands as they are called on PC, without even leaving the game. This means greater control in what you are playing and an overall more fun experience. Some examples of the things you can change include the game mode, time, difficulty, weather and more!

4. Classic Crafting; One of the main differences between the PC and Xbox versions of Minecraft is the crafting. On PC, you have to make the formations yourself by dragging and dropping the items in the crafting table, whereas on Xbox, the formations are there but you have to make sure you have all the items. However, in this update thing, the Xbox crafting system is no longer used and is replaced by the PC system. Although I like this system as it is more traditional, I think the hardcore Minecraft Xbox gamers will find it hard to adapt to the new system, having never needed to know the formations, just what item they need. However, there are many tutorials and books with all the formations in, so I think overall they will be ok! *fingers crossed*

5. New Items: As well as all of these wonderful updates, new items have been added to the Xbox version. These include: Iron Trapdoors, Inverted Daylight Sensors, Book & Quills & Stained Glass.

Overall, I am really looking forward to playing with all these new additions and seeing what I think. I hope this blog has helped you if you are an Xbox Gamer, and if you're a PC Minecrafter, I hope it interested you seeing what different versions of Minecraft have.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Noah :)
